Mervyn Edgecombe - Principal
Before working with Calm, he spent 15 years as deputy news editor on the Daily Mail and worked as a freelance journalist in Fleet Street for daily and Sunday national newspapers, TV, radio and magazines.  His in-depth understanding of the media and unrivalled contacts within it have proved crucial - particularly when handling crisis situations.  He also has extensive event experience.  He has both project managed and acted as the Head of PR for a number of high profile events including: Tower Bridge Centenary Celebrations, Forth Bridge Centenary Celebrations, the futuristic Robotix Expo held in Glasgow and the Port Of London Authority and British Gas new Millennium celebrations.  He solely handles all PR matters for the Fettes College, St Anne’s School and Golden Jubilee National Hospital and plays an pro-active strategic role across all client accounts – in particular the high-level national lobbying for Codeworks.

Neil Baldwin – Director of Media Services
Neil, a fully trained journalist, has ten years’ PR and marketing experience gained from working for a broad range of clients based in Scotland, UK, Europe and the USA.  He has consistently delivered high-level media coverage and marketing advice to clients in many business sectors such as Financial Services, Technology, Education and Healthcare.  Neil has worked for companies such as Royal Bank of Scotland, Standard Life, Sun Microsystems and VeriSIM to promote their products and services across the UK and Europe.  Neil is a consummate exponent of the consumer, trade and crisis PR/marketing disciplines.  Neil has account managed the Codeworks account for 30 months.

Julie Fraser - Account Director
Julie has seven years London-based PR experience, spanning consumer, event, corporate and business-to-business PR.  She started her career with motor sport PR specialists, Jardine PR where she worked on accounts for: Honda UK, Silverstone Circuits, RAC Network Q Rally, BBC Top Gear Live and Direct Line.  More recently, Julie worked for marketing services PR specialists, The Zebra Consultancy, where she represented a number of design, digital and new media companies.  Julie has spent most of her time working on the Game Republic, Eutechnyx, Scottish Parliament, WWAV Rapp Collins Scotland, Astound and Lakeland Willow Water accounts.
